Our Story: It Started With a Back Injury
We didn’t start as a chair retailer. Our founder started as a patient.
In the space of a few years, our founder slipped multiple discs. The pain was sharp and constant, like a cramp that never let go. There was no seat he could sit on comfortably, and bending even an inch caused intense pain.
In that state, a chair stops being furniture. He needed one he could fit and adjust properly to his body: the right size, height, tilt, armrests and back support. That search led him to the Herman Miller Aeron, at the time a chair few people around him had even heard of. The Aeron was designed by Bill Stumpf and Don Chadwick, drawing on extensive research into how people sit. Stumpf’s earlier seating research included work with specialists in orthopaedic and vascular medicine.
From 2001, we imported Aerons for our own offices and project clients. Through group-buys on HardwareZone and VRzone, other buyers began joining our overseas orders, and by 2008 public orders had become our business.
No chair is a medical treatment, and every body is different. If you have a back condition, follow your doctor’s advice. But we know first-hand why sizing, fit and adjustability matter, and that’s how we still advise every customer today.

- We source through established international supply channels and consolidate shipments. Some stock was originally intended for other markets.

Every chair we sell as new is genuine and brand-new. We never sell refurbished, used or factory-second chairs as new.

12-Year Seller-Backed Parts Warranty
Eligible chairs bought from us carry our own 12-year limited parts warranty, coordinated by our Singapore team. It’s provided by Unwanted Imports, not by the manufacturer. Exclusions include wear-and-tear items, misuse and unauthorised modification, and labour or transport charges may apply. Full coverage and exclusions are set out in our Warranty Coverage terms.
For parts outside warranty coverage, we may be able to source replacements or arrange servicing at a quoted cost, subject to availability. To keep spares and response times healthy, we service only chairs sold by us.
