Fixed the most problematic issue in Herman Miller task chairs
The most frequently broken item is always the wheels. Not only do they break and shed, but they also start scratching the floor as they harden over time.
To address caster failures and floor-noise issues, we worked with an established German industrial caster manufacturer that produces wheels for demanding commercial environments. We also developed a customised wheel compound to meet specific performance requirements—focusing on durability, quieter rolling, and better floor protection.
They maintain the same overall height as the original casters, which helps preserve the chair’s intended ergonomics. Increasing caster height can alter seat height and posture for some users
As a result, we have co-invented the German Made Aeron Casters engineered to be longer-lasting, less noisy, and less likely to mark hard floors. They also incorporate a slip-resistance/braking characteristic designed to reduce unwanted roll-away on smooth surfaces.
These casters cost 50 times more to produce, are exclusive to us, and can’t be found anywhere else in the world. The new casters could last at least 3 to 5 times longer than the originals, and there have been no broken casters in more than the past 10 years.
We not only have exclusivity to these wheels. We are so confident in them, we offer a 12 years warranty on the German Made Aeron Casters and have supplied them in bulk to contractors for government agencies and large companies.
These casters use a common stem format and may fit many task chairs with the same stem design, including Steelcase.

“Ordered two embody chairs on Saturday evening and received on Sunday as there happened to be ready stock available. This fast delivery is really unexpected and I have to give proper kudos to both unwanted and the delivery man to put in the effort to turnaround so quickly.
Chairs were received in good condition and transaction was hassle free.
Although I had some creaking sounds from one of the chairs, I felt this has nothing to do with the delivery (it’s not uncommon if you read online), and unwanted provided some suggestions on how I could resolve. His responses have always been prompt even though he didn’t need to entertain such queries.
Would recommend others to buy from this MO if you don’t mind doing some self-help if you encounter issues. Good MO organiser.

Ordered the chair with PostureFit and headrest unassembled and every part was well cushioned with foams and covered in transparent plastic while the headrest was in a box. No scratches or dents on any part of the chair and though the rollers were not covered, there were no dirt on it. Kudos to the delivery guy for taking great precaution during delivery
It only took me 30 mins max to fix up everything including the 3rd party headrest.

The transaction was smooth, and although the lumbar pad was missing from my order, it was a very minor issue, and I was glad that Unwanted was upfront about this and informed me when the order arrived. I received the lumbar pad separately after a couple of weeks.
Installation of the chair was very simple and only took about 10 minutes total. The lumbar pad installation was 2 minutes tops.
